BACK-TO-SCHOOL IMPORTANT INFORMATION 2010-11
We will be posting a lot of general information on this page for your convenience. Letters have been e-mailed and include details specific to your child. Please make sure to update us if your contact information changes by emailing new details to bethpreschool@bellsouth.net.
All students must have the following items on file before they may begin school.
Please mail or bring them to the preschool office by Friday, September 3th
-Financial Policy Form
-Copy of Birth Certificiate
-Immunization Form 3231 (current)
-September 2010 Tuition (and May 2011, if not already paid)
-Materials Fee (1- & 2-day classes $75, 3-day classes $85, 4-day class $95, and 5-day classes $100)
-Handbook Acknowledgement Form (attached to handbook that is available online)
-Pick-up Authorization Form
Supplies
We ask for help with some of our supplies.
Please send in the following items during the first week of school:
1 roll of paper towels
1 container of baby wipes
1 container of multi-purpose cleaning wipes
1 box of tissues
1 bottle of hand sanitizer
Tote Bags
We ask that all children carry uniform bags. The bags we are selling now are a bit different this year. This is not mandatory, but is helpful to the teachers as many compartments and zippers can cause items to get “lost.” Tote bags will be available for purchase for $15 in the Preschool Office.
Sunshine Fund
Our Parent Council leads this optional service to streamline checkwriting and payments, and reduce shopping, for parents. Please read our
Sunshine Fund letter for all the details.
Parent Orientation Thursday, September 2
Orientation Night from 7-8:45 pm, is an evening dedicated to inform parents about the school. This night will be broken into two parts. Time will be spent in your child’s classroom to meet the teachers, receive your Back to School Packets and Parent Handbook. In addition, a portion will be in the Scout Hut with the Director, for a brief overview of important policies and procedures. While in the Scout Hut, we encourage you to meet representatives from our Stay and Play extracurricular programs and sign up for our Parent Council, and purchase tote bags.
The sessions will be divided as follows:
7:00-7:30 All MWF, M-F and Friday only classes visit Classrooms
7:45-8:15 ALL FAMILIES MWF/TUE/THU – Scout Hut with Director
8:15-8:45 All Tues/Thurs classes visit classrooms
While we love children - this night is best held without them!
Meet and Greet Friday September 3
This is your child’s opportunity to explore his/her new classroom and meet their teachers and some classmates. Times are divided as follows: MWF, M-F and Friday only classes from 9-11 a.m. Tues/Thurs Classes and Tues - Friday classes from 11-1 p.m. Please stop in over that window of time!
