What are we? The parent council serves the preschool by organizing committees and hosting events throughout the year. All parents of preschool children are members of the parent council and your level of involvement is up to you. While some committees are ongoing throughout the year, others require only 1 or 2 hours of help on a specific day. Please consider volunteering your time and talent to help our preschool “bloom and grow.”

Sunshine Committee co-chairs:
This committee supports the preschool community and director as well as our church through various social activities throughout the year. Sunshine also provides gifts to the office staff and administration on their birthdays, Christmas, and end of the year. This committee works closely with room mothers, teachers, and families. We support families in times of need or celebration.
Class Coffees Chairperson:
This committee along with St. Monica’s Circle is responsible for organizing morning coffees on Tuesday September 15th and Wednesday September 16th after carpool. This gives parents an opportunity to visit with one another and meet new families. Committee members assist with set up, provide food and beverages, and clean up.
Fall Picnic co-chairs:
This event includes dinner and mass and will be held on Sunday October 25th. Hamburgers and hot dogs are prepared by the All Saints Knights of Columbus and entertainment is provided. Volunteers are needed to help with planning, set up, and clean up.
Desserts with Santa Chairperson:
The preschool supports the Knights of Columbus with this event which will be held in the social hall on Saturday December 5th. Volunteers will help with planning, set up, making crafts, and clean up. Our school also participates in the Adopt-a-Family program and this committee will assist with money collection, gift purchase, and gift wrap/delivery as well.
Catholic Schools Week co-chairs:
This week gives our children the opportunity to celebrate their faith through fun filled lessons and activities. It is scheduled for Feb 1-5 and will include a school Mass.
Donuts with Dad chairperson:
Donuts with Dad is planned for Tuesday March 16th and Wednesday March 17th. This special morning gives dads an opportunity to have breakfast with their little ones in the gym before the school day begins. This committee is responsible for planning, set up, serving, and clean up.
Teacher Appreciation:
This special event takes place in the spring and gives our teachers an opportunity to have lunch with one another in the beautiful All Saints Rectory. Volunteers are needed to plan, provide teacher gifts, set up, serve, clean up, and supervise classrooms.
